School-wide Learning Outcomes

Our School-wide Learning Outcomes (SLOs) were developed through a collaborative process with our entire teaching staff. By using the acronym RTP, which is also the name of our orientation program, our SLOs define the expected outcomes for our students, or what we refer to as “The Valley Way”. School-wide we strive to ensure that our academic programs and school culture reflect each of these learner outcomes:

Respect-
Be responsible and accountable for your actions.
Respect your space and the space we share.
Demonstrate integrity in the choices you make.

Think-
Demonstrate academic and life skills through the use of technology and collaboration.
Develop creative and critical thinkers who make meaningful decisions.

Participate-
Take an active role in your education.
Prepare for college and career and life.
Contribute to school and community.
Be a lifelong learner.
